Website Design / Online Marketing

Every business needs a well designed website. Effective businesses have a website that does more than statically present a range of products, is more than an electronic brochure. Your site might incorporate an online store, a range of downloadable brochures or, simplest of all, regularly changing content. It should also be the hub for ongoing communication with your clients via email – with the support of strong imagery which cuts through and helps present your message in a more interesting way.

The challenge with achieving this is balancing the behind-the-scenes technical stuff with a stylish design.

At CM Design we have the design skills to create a very good looking website that will represent your business as you want it to. But we also have the technical ability to incorporate a range of extra functionality into your site or in conjunction with it. For instance, we can design and setup email campaigns compatible with many of the leading online services such as MailChimp, Campaign Monitor and Mailout.

We can also train you to use your website so that if you want to run a store, send out newsletters or just change text, you’ll be able to do so yourself – quickly and easily.

Active Body in Balance

The Challenge

Active Body in Balance(ABB) is a new personal training service which needed to establish their entry into the personal training market. ABB specialise in improving physical performance by dealing with movement and alignment issues within the body using a range of techniques.

The Solution

The client wanted to focus on one key excercise which illustrates their approach to exercise and mobility - the "Turkish Get Up".  Using this as a starting point the illustration colours and text were all pulled together to give a fresh and healthy look to the logo and business card.

The Challenge

Andrea Henrickson is a relationship coach who specialises is working with individuals and teams to improve their performance at work and their relationships at home. Andrea came to cm design wanting to breathe new life into her business identity so that it reflected her own style and personality more...introducing a playful element to her business.

The Solution

The real turning point for Andrea's clients is that moment of realisation...when the penny drops and they can begin to put into practice what they have learned and discovered. This was the basis for the idea behind the logo, making the moment of realisation the focus for the business identity.

The logo and brand styling was rolled out through a full stationery set and a Powerpoint template.

Roma CD Brochure

Roma CD Brochure

The Challenge

To produce a launch brochure for the new range of Bellini frames. The brochure needed to reflect the quality of the new range but also had to be ready in time for the imminent expo where the range was to be launched.

The Solution

The client had already identified that the brochure was at to be at least 20 pages, this meant that there was little time to design the document and have it printed. To solve this problem an A3 tri-fold presentation folder was used to showcase a CD containing a PDF of the full brochure.

With only an A3 folder and a short run of digitally printed and duplicated discs required, the production time and costs were dramatically reduced while at the same time still presenting the new range with a high quality finish.

Gen Z Media

Gen Z Media

The Challenge

To revitalise the company identity and business card to bring it inline with the companies new activities and business focus.

The Solution

To maintain brand familiarity the general colour scheme and the ball icon were retained as part of the new design. A brighter colour scheme was applied to the design.

The new organisation of the text within the logo dealt with two issues with the previous logo. First, the previous logo was very long and made applying it to a range of applications difficult. The second issue was that people often missed the "Z" or created a new word "Genz". Creating a more structured logo with varying emphasis on each part of the business name solved both of these issues.

On the business card, the layered colours and brand elements were used to create depth and reflect the many aspects of internet marketing which reflected the companies activities. On the reverse of the card an online form graphic was used to illustrate the skill areas which customers can choose from when working with Gen Z Media and enable us to incorporate these elements into one simple tagline.

Compostable Nappies

Compostable Nappies

The Challenge

Dial a Nappy needed to brand and promote their new range of environmentally friendly nappies. The overall style needed to be consistent with their other products but a fresh and exciting new look. As well as the branding and advertising there would be a website with an online store... all of which needed to carry the new brand and styling.

The Solution

A simple nappy icon was developed as the brand insignia which showed the distinctive nappy and waistband construction of the new product range. In keeping with it's envrionmental credentials a vibrant green was chosen as the main colour with a pallet of 5 other strong, bright colours to work as highlights.

Working with a photographer, we shot each of the new products to give a consistent, professional appearance on the website, flyers and advertising.

Antons Show Invite

Antons Show Invite

antons-tradeinvite-main

The Challenge

Antons holds a series of annual trade shows around Australia aimed directly at professional framers. They also hold an annual framing competition which is well regarded within the industry.

Antons decided that combining the two events would bring more people together at one time making the event more effective as a way of reaching professional framemakers. They also wanted to make sure that the marketing of the trade shows was more targeted towards their intended audience.

The Solution

The first stage was to create an indentity for the show in the form of a simple logo. The logo and the flyer were then treated with an industrial look to reflect the mechanical and robust nature of the range of products that Antons were promoting at the show. The style was intentionally less corporate than previous years events but still maintained a professional edge.

The flyer was distributed around the country and framers were then called to follow up and confirm attendance. The number of people attending the show increased dramatically and the shows were considered a great success by Antons' marketing department.
