The ChallengeAntons holds a series of annual trade shows around Australia aimed directly at professional framers. They also hold an annual framing competition which is well regarded within the industry. Antons decided that combining the two events would bring more people together at one time making the event more effective as a way of reaching professional framemakers. They also wanted to make sure that the marketing of the trade shows was more targeted towards their intended audience. The SolutionThe first stage was to create an indentity for the show in the form of a simple logo. The logo and the flyer were then treated with an industrial look to reflect the mechanical and robust nature of the range of products that Antons were promoting at the show. The style was intentionally less corporate than previous years events but still maintained a professional edge. The flyer was distributed around the country and framers were then called to follow up and confirm attendance. The number of people attending the show increased dramatically and the shows were considered a great success by Antons' marketing department. |
