The ChallengeAs part of a campaign to increase awareness of Brimbank City Council’s nine The brochure needed to have a strong community feel, which meant it needed to be bright and accessible. At the same time, it needed to convey a substantial amount of information. An additional consideration was that it would be translated into five languages, meaning that the layout needed to be flexible enough to incorporate varying blocks of text without losing its overall feel. The SolutionA heavy emphasis on photography was used to demonstrate the centres’ various services. This made the brochure easy to absorb, but it also helped it in the task of overcoming language barriers. Subtle use of the colour scheme (as part of a broader artwork project) in the layout of the brochure allowed us keep the information clear and readable while avoiding any sense of clutter. This also provided the flexibility needed for the various language versions. Bags and Banners were also produced as part of this campaign. |
